Thankful for inclusion of Gordon Lippman’s story as a featured article on page 66-68 of the Nov/Dec edition of Graybeards.
An excerpt, “Once these Korean mountains were in friendly hands, the 25th Division went on the offensive again, including an attack to the west on two lines of advance with motorized task forces which involved primarily the 24th Infantry Regiment. The 24th was an all-Black unit, led by white officers, and Gordon was assigned to become one of those officers in the heat of a running gun battle.”
