Robert E. Lofthouse

Rob Lofthouse is a guest speaker, sports journalist, bestselling and award-winning author, editor, book reviewer, genealogist and historian.

Recently in New Orleans where the Military Writer’s Society of America awarded him their Bronze Medal for Honor Through Sacrifice, this book has now won 8 literary awards. The biography of Gordon Joseph Lippman chronicles a decorated 22-year Army career where he served with distinction in WWII, Korea and Vietnam while earning the Distinguished Service Cross, Legion of Merit, 2 Silver Stars, 2 Bronze Stars and 3 Purple Hearts while being recognized by 5 nations for his courage under fire.  Colonel Lippman is also the 325th recipient of the Army’s Combat Infantry Badge with 2 Stars. Amazon has recognized Lofthouse as a best-selling author.

Rob is currently on an international speaking and book tour, visiting Texas, Kansas, Missouri, the South Dakota Festival of Books, and Toccoa Georgia where he participated in the 22nd annual Currahee Military Weekend by sharing Gordon’s stories with veterans and their families. Recently returning from Southern France where the book received international recognition, he was researching material for his next project. 

Rob is a member of the Village West Rotary Club, Sons of the American Revolution and the Heartland Wing of the Commemorative Air Force.

He served in the US Marine Corps as a Corporal and is available for interviews, speaking at your events, and book signings.
